Carpe Diem

OH!
hello, monday! didn't see you there!

well folks, another week.
Term 1 is over and its time to kick start another 44 school days with hopes of a 4.0 GPA
Luckily, Term 2 brings in the HOLIDAYS!
Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years.
Who's ready?
I'm giddy.

So, as it would happen, I'm sitting there in math class today,
Thinking of bigger, more exciting things than how to graph functions.
So I text my Friend, Jessie.
Now, something you need to know about Jessie:
I miss her tons because she goes to a different high school :'(
She and I have so many similar interests,
We are both free spirits
and Jessie is down right AWESOME.

So I text her this:
"Jessie. Lets just quit school, get on a plane, and see the world."

And in turn, she replies:
"Tali, Let us please. Lets see paris, let's hike across the Alps, lets sail the ocean, lets build houses in Peru, lets take a road trip along the west coast, lets go on Safari, lets see the wonders of New Zealand, lets ride bike across quaint England, lets sing and dance on the rolling hills in Switzerland, lets race horses across meadows, LETS SEE THE WORLD.
I could do that."

And so, we both vowed to live this dream and do just that.
See the world.
To see all there is to see.
To do all there is to do.
To meet so many new, different, unique, wonderful people.
To understand culture and history and language.
To help those in need.
To see the good in the world for ourselves.

Don't get me wrong.
I love Utah, America, where I live.
I'm surrounded by so many wonderful people and amazing opportunities.
I love my life here.

But, I'd like to see whats out there.

Carpe Diem.
It means "seize the day" in Latin.

Symbolism? Ya... Maybe.

Have an awesome week, loves!
