Easter goodness.

This year, my Easter was spectacular. It was because I made such an effort to learn and grow and prepare myself spiritually and historically the week before. I participated in the #BecauseOfHim challenge to post something on Instagram everyday about our Savior.

It was great to be able to think about all Christ's atonement fulfills in my life. I loved being able to remember Him and His life.
Although the holiday is over, I plan on continuing to remember Him and think of all the blessing I am given because of Him.

#goodmessagemonday

 Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God;
D&C 88:119

Youth conference was absolutely incredible. No words.

I'm so glad I had the opportunity to participate this year. I had so many reasons not to attend, and believe me, they were good ones.
But I'm ever so thankful that Heavenly Father helped me decide not what was better for me, but what was best.
It was so, so, SO great.

We got home Saturday night exhausted, yet FILLED with spiritual goodness.

Then, Sunday night, the young women in our stake and I were blessed to hear from Sister Dalton. She is my hero.

It was an absolutely amazing weekend that  I wish I could relive over and over again.

I'm beyond grateful for experiences like these that allow us to feel our Heavenly Father's love and guidance.

2014 so far.

HI! Hello! How is everyone!
How is the new year?
ha! I know, March.. hee hee.. this hasn't been my best blogging year so far..
BUT
the reason being: So much has happened this year already!
It's been incredible! Dreams have been coming true left and right!

The biggest part of my life right now is Acting Up,
the advanced musical theatre team at the Scera Theatre,
and I'm so glad it is! I absolutely LOVE doing it!
In February, went on tour to CA to compete in Musical Theatre Competitions of America.
And it was beyond amazing.

Everyone in Acting Up is crazy talented and so much fun to be with.
I love them all tons and I'm so thankful for them.

Last weekend our family saw Brian Regan live in SLC.
There was not one single moment when we weren't laughing so hard we thought we'd die.
We are huge fans for a reason.
I just really love my family tons.
Pretty stoked we're sealed for eternity (:

And so then, yesterday Jaya and I took pictures..
and so that was cool because we're never not laughing when we're together.

Here are some of them...

There are way more like the one above than normal pictures..
I like my best friend, Jaya.

so, 2014? way too cool.

New Hair Cut Hurrah!

Once upon a time, a young lady had very long hair.
Her hair basically consumed her life.
And so, this young lady decided to chop off her hair.

That young lady is me.
And yes, I chopped my hair (:

And I also donated it to Locks of Love.
It has literally been my dream ever since I was young to donate my hair.
I just thought it would be the coolest thing.
So finally, this past Saturday, my dreams came true.

I cut off 10 in. of my hair, put the ponytail in the envelope, and sent it off.
I'm just so thankful for opportunities like this.
My hair will be made into a wig for a beautiful girl to wear.

Cancer is not fair.
And neither is life.
Losing one's hair can't be fun, especially when one may be so young.
But, we can't stop life from happening.
We can only make the best of it.

So, if you are thinking of donating your hair, DO IT.
Take that risk and make someone else's life better.

enjoy these celebratory photos

Honestly, short hair is the bomb.
